Back when Buffy the Vampire Slayer was still a phenomenon, Charmed came out of nowhere and took over the TV. Soon after the show’s release, the Halliwell sisters became some of the iconic female characters of the time. 1998, the show’s debut year, became one of the best financial years for the Warner Brothers, thanks to its massive fanbase. Here’s what you need to know about the main cast of the original Charmed series.
- Phoebe Halliwell (ENFP): Phoebe was a young, daring, and risk-taker witch who was known for her impulsivity and bravery.
- Prue Halliwell (ESTJ): As the oldest sister, Prue was overprotective and cautious, having a hard time trusting others—especially those who tried to get closer to her and her family.
- Piper Halliwell (ISFJ): Of all the Charmed girls, Piper is the sweetest. She is friendly, kindhearted, and giving, also serving as the trio’s mood-maker.
- Paige Mathews (ENTP): Joining the Halliwell sisters late in the story, Paige is an assertive, clever, and self-reliant lady who often has a hard time expressing her emotions—and is also known to be incredibly stubborn.
Are You a Witch or a Whitelighter?

The rebooted Charmed series was one of the worst things to happen to TV in 2018. It was doll, unamusing, and boring on so many different levels. That’s why we intentionally left Mel, Macy, Maggie, and Michaela out. (Oops.) No one would like to match those soulless and unrelatable characters anyway.
